What type of information is NOT on Credit Reports?
- Medical Information
(unless you have consented)
- Debts over 7 years old
- Bankruptcy over 10 years
(except Chapter 13 Bankruptcy which remains on credit reports for 7 years)
- Any other adverse item of information other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than 7 years.
Exempted cases - The following types of information may stay on credit reports indefinitely:
1. A credit transaction involving an amount of $150,000 or more.
2. The underwriting of life insurance involving a face amount of $150,000 or more.
3. The employment of an individual at an annual salary of $75,000 or more.
