How can I get a FREE Credit Report?
The free credit report can be obtained from AnnualCreditReport.com. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion – to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months.

Is there another way to get a free credit report?

Yes, there are certain times when you are entitled to a copy of your credit report for free. For example, if you have been denied credit, within 60 days of the denial you can request a free copy of your credit report. Contact the credit bureau for more information.

Other methods of obtaining your credit report:

You can get a copy of your credit report online, or call or write any of the 3 major credit bureaus. (see credit bureau address page)
